Makeup clean-out & cell phone bling!

Hi everyone!! I finally got enough courage to do a makeup clean-out! After tonight, I've learned I have a horrible time parting with things but I can say I've gotten rid of a large percentage of my makeup. Here is what I still have:

It's not a lot, but I plan to fill my collection with things I absolutely know I will wear. & not just things because I got them at a "good price" or a prestigious "discount site". I only kept stuff that still has good pigmentation (is that a word?) & colors within my reach. I've never been the one for greens or purples but I can say I got rid of a lot of those colors (even though I still have some). I'm kinda proud. Hah!

& lastly, I've dropped my cell phone for the billionth time this week so I've decided to get a cover that looks like this:

I'll post photos in action once I get it in the mail!!

Have a great night! xox, -tf

(PS: finally got my facebook link up, it's in the right sidebar under my twitter link! feel free to add!>>)

Shampoos and Conditioners I've been using!

It's been asked many times, and I don't think I've ever really shared. Here is what I'm using:

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Collection
I just started using this specific collection earlier this month. Normally I'm not a fan of Paul Mitchell because I find it doesn't mix well with my hair. However, my stylist introduced me to this and it helps with dry ends, damaging, making your hair smooth, and also drying time after washings. I can't guarantee this product will work for you because believe me I've tried many shampoos that just haven't came through for me. However, if your hair is anything like mine (blond, highlighted, super long) it will probably help a lot.

Infusium Shampoo & Conditioner
Another shampoo & conditioner collection I've been loving is by Infusium (purchased at walmart). It's way cheaper than Paul Mitchell and works wonders. My hair would get all tangled in the shower, to the point where I couldn't even run a brush through it while conditioning. After using this stuff it's definitely less damaged than before.

So that's what I recommend for shampoos and conditioners! Yesterday I tried mixing the Infusium conditioner with the Paul Mitchell conditioner and I actually really liked the mix, better than them separately! I'll do some more posts tomorrow. xox, -tf

CSN Stores All Modern Review: Alessi Round Basket

A couple weeks ago I wrote a teaser post letting you all know about the review I was going to do for All Modern (a CSN store). Well, today the delivery man came by and dropped off my review package. I want to touch base on a few things before I start my beloved rant. FTC: CSN stores sent me this review package for free, however I got to pick the item out and this post consists of my honest opinions.

The box came in perfect condition (compliments to my favorite delivery method, fedex) and as you probably see in the photos the packaging was really nice and cared for. So many companies, especially decor companies, just throw your items in a box and they get damaged. What's the point in ordering something when you know it's going to get damaged? So if you do order from them, I can tell you they do take their time packaging. Not saying an accident wouldn't happen, but you know. Here's what I received:

I love the Alessi packaging!

Retail: $32.90 on sale for $25.60
It's such a modern, versatile bowl, really nice for anything. I'm thinking about maybe using it in my new room on my bed side table or in my bathroom for lush products. At first I had to look up what the material was because the texture was something I never felt before! But it is made of aluminnum wire. The quality is really nice and the size is actually a bit bigger than I expected. I've always been a fan of Alessi decor but never had a chance to own any, so I'm really happy to do this review for All Modern.

Thanks for taking your time to read my review! Make sure to check out the CSN Stores. They have tons of different stores, for every aspect of life. Readers, check back for more fashion posts soon! xox, -tf

Off with my red! Fav red lippie and polish.

What would style be without the color red? It's classic, timeless, and perfect. I recently discovered my dream red lippie and polish. Surprisingly, unlike other perfect red lipsticks, my favorite is actually the most affordable.

NYC Lipstick in Retro Red

I bet you would never expect a $1 lipstick to be this great. It's long lasting, fierce, and gives the affect of a high end color. Most importantly, it's red, not berry, not pink, RED. For a dollar!! I could buy exactly fourteen of these for the price of a single mac lipstick. I always have this in my purse along with some different glosses.

OPI in Off With Her Red
(from the Alice in Wonderland collection)

This red polish is definitely true to color. My worst pet peeve is when you buy something in "red" and it turns out to be berry, burgundy, or pink. I've waisted so much money and I hate berry lipstick now! lol I don't know what to say, it's just the most perfect red, ever. Now some swatches:
